Requirements: One year or more of professional cooking experience, fine dining experience a plus | Knowledge of food safety preparation and handling | Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment | Excellent communication and customer service skills | Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality | Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team | A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly | Flexible schedule with the ability to work scheduled weekends and holidays

Responsibilities: Preparing resident meals as prescribed by daily menus and recipes | Adhering to documented standards for kitchen cleanliness and safety | Serving meals at the appropriate temperature with quality and presentation in mind | Assisting with set-up, service and clean-up of food production | Cleaning work area and equipment during and immediately after meal preparation and service according to established practice and regulatory inspection requirements
